The international conference focuses on applied research in the field of pigments, binders and specialty materials for surface treatment using coatings and paints. Its aim is a meeting of experts, researchers and students from organizations, schools and production companies engaged in the development, production, application and sale of pigments and binders. There are usually more than 20 lectures on the program and more than 150 participants each year. Main languages of the conference are Czech and English.

Among the conference guests will be Dr. Michael Hilt, MBA - President of FATIPEC (Federation of Associations of Technicians for Industry of Paints in European Countries), the organizer of the ETCC congress, which will take place in Prague from June 30 to July 2, 2026, in cooperation with the Czech Chemical Society.

The conference is organised by the journal CHEMAGAZÍN in collaboration with the Institute of Chemistry and Technology of Macromolecular Materials, Faculty of Chemical Technology, University of Pardubice. The expert guarantor of the conference is Prof. Ing. Andréa Kalendová, PhD.; Head of the Paints and Resins Expert Group of the Czech Chemical Society and Chairman of the ETCC 2026 Congress.
